Brief : Prof-senior engineer, Ph.D. in Chang'an University. Mainly engaged in study of regional metallogenic and prospecting.

Li Zhiming was born in 1963, obtained bachelor degree from Central South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy in 1984 and master degree from Central South Polytechnic University in 1989. After graduated, he entered into Xikuangshan Mining Administration. He undertook the key project from the Nonferrous Metals Corporation of China—Prospecting potential of antimony ore field in Xikuangshan, and obtained the third prize for science and technology advancement. Then he transferred to Northwest Mining and Geological Bureau as chief geologist. He led and finished some key mining investigation and scientific research projects, such as Survey on high-grade Mn ore in Kuche District, Xinjiang Province and Survey on gold deposit in Tongdonggou, Yiyang County, Henan Province. Now, he has been working as the director in department of mineral resources in Xi’an Centre of geological survey, CGS. He took charge of many key investigation projects from China Geology Survey, for example, Potential Mineral Resources assessments in metallogenic province, Kunlun Mountain, Qinghai Province, in Altyn District, Xinjiang Province, and in Southern Shaanxi Province. So far, he has obtained four achievement awards from our ministry, including two second prizes and two third prizes for Science and technology advancement. Besides that, he has compiled a monograph and over 9 academic articles in formal issue of the journal. The main representative articles are as follows:
